A range of rooms to suit
The Elgin is the amalgamation of 4 Promenade Hotels that were originally built in the 1930’s and this makes all of our 89 en-suite rooms unique in shape and size. Guests can choose from 6 different room types from a Standard en-suite through to a Club Class Executive room, which we believe is possibly the best “designer” room available on the Prom. Most of the Hotel room types are available as a Double, Twin or Family.
Standard and Standard Sea View Rooms
All of our standard rooms are en-suite some with bath, some with shower and some with both. If you have a preference please request at the time of booking.
Naturally they are all centrally heated, have tea and coffee making facilities as well as having a flat screen TV.
Standard Sea View rooms have the same facilities but have the advantage of facing the sea – these are priced at an extra £5.00 per person per night.
Premium Room
With new bathrooms, furniture and soft furnishings these are a valued addition to the Elgin room types. Premium room supplements: £4.00 per person per night/ £6.00 per person per night for a Sea Facing Premium room.
Superior Sea View Room
These are sea view rooms with added comfort and are generally larger than a standard sea view room. These are priced at £7.50 per person per night.
Premium Sea View
These rooms, although slightly smaller than our Superior Sea View, ooze contemporary style. All of this is packaged with modern soft furnishings and state of the art bathrooms. These are priced at £6 per person per night.
Club Class Room and Club Class Sea View
Classic contemporary design with all the comfort and amenities one would expect of a top class bedroom. Double beds are ‘King Size’. Bedrooms and bathrooms are more spacious than standard rooms. Heated mirrors in bathrooms. Flat screen TV’s with DVD’s in the bedroom. Although not ‘sea view’ these rooms do have a side sea view These Rooms are priced at £10.00 per person per night
or if you opt for a Direct Sea View they are £13.00 per person per night.
Club Executive Room
We are very proud to present you with our ‘Club Executive’ rooms. Theses capture all the classic contemporary design of our Club Class rooms but they also include full Sea Views, exquisite bathrooms with space to include bath and separate shower cubicle. By the way, there’s even a TV you can watch while soaking in your bath. The rooms have DVD and large flat screen TV’ in the bedroom. These rooms are prices at an extra £17.50 per person per night.
Accessible Rooms
We now have 5 Accessible Rooms with en-suite Wet Rooms, which are all fully accessible by wheelchair. There are 2 Standard, 2 Club Class rooms and 1 Club
