The Resort

With such a wide range of active and leisurely pursuits, no wonder visitors derive the most enjoyment from a break in Blackpool offering them a wonderful opportunity to relax away from the every day routine! You can spend your time on heart-stopping rides, take a quiet stroll along the Promenade and down the Piers, shop till you drop at Blackpool’s vast array of shops where High Street names sit alongside speciality stores.

Don’t forget to visit the Houndshill Shopping Centre with Debenhams and other major retail brands or try the new pedestrianised St. Johns Square with its fountains and pavement cafes or be dazzled by ‘Brilliance’ an interactive light show in Birley Street or pop along to Freeport Designer Outlet and Shopping Mall it’s only a tram ride away.

Why not take a stroll on the new Tower Headland and chuckle at the Comedy carpet with over 600 one liners from British comedians. Go up the Tower to the 4D glass top or down to the new Tower dungeon or just dance in the magnificent ballroom.

There’s so much to see you can’t do it all in one day – so give yourself more time with a stay at the Elgin Hotel and make Blackpool the place to be for an extended holiday or a short break.

There are so many family attractions, Madame Tussauds, Blackpool Zoo, Sandcastle Waterpark, Sea Life centre and of course Pleasure beach Blackpool with it’s white knuckle rides and 6 acre Nickelodeon Land.
