APRIL - St Annes and Blackpool Tower & Circus

the bar each evening. On Wednesday there is a full day excursion to St Annes
and Blackpool Tower and Circus. In the morning you will have the option to be
dropped off at the Tower for a fascinating behind the scenes historical tour by
Barry McQueen* before rejoining the group in the afternoon at the Circus or go
straight to St Annes where you have time to explore this town with its lovely
square and shops, stroll along the Pier or walk through the promenade gardens
before departing for Blackpool Tower and Circus where your ticket includes
entrance to the Tower and a reserved seat at the world famous circus.

MAY - Cartmel and Holker Hall

Holker Hall. In the morning we will travel to the medieval village of Cartmel with its quirky antique shops, famous priory, lovely cafe’s and scrumptious Sticky
Toffee Pudding. Then it’s on to the magnificent Holker Hall set in beautiful
gardens framed by the lakeland hills. Enjoy the spectacular 25 acres of gardens or
visit the farm shop and visitor centre or have tea in the Courtyard Cafe before our
coach returns you to the Elgin. In the event of inclement weather, we will take
you for some indoor retail therapy
in Kendal prior to visiting Holker Hall.

JUNE - Historic City of Lancaster and Canal Cruise

Historic city of Lancaster. You have time to visit the cafes as well as the
