Irish Ceilidh Night
Thursday 15th March
Raise a glass of Bushmills, have a tot of Baileys, or down a pint of
Guinness . . . It’s our Irish Ceilidh night with good wholesome Irish meal
topped off with great cabaret entertainment . . . ”It’s craic” ing!
Titanic Night
Thursday 12th April
On Thursday 11th April 1911 RMS Titanic left Queenstown for NewYork
after sailing from Southampton to Cherbourg. To honour the memory of that
fateful maiden voyage, 100 years later we are holding our own Titanic night
with no icebergs on our charted course. Dinner follows the menu served to
First class passengers with entertainment suited to a night of such great
nostalgia. Please try to join us in dressing for the occasion to mark the
centenary of Titanic.
St George’s Night
Monday 23rd April
There aren’t any fire breathing dragons! Just a celebration of great
English food and top class English entertainment.
A Night in with Doris Day!
Thursday 3rd May
“When I was just a little girl” . . . I wanted to be Doris Day ! Tonight you can hear
all those fabulous songs after a sumptuous candlelit dinner. Jean Pasquill will
bring the magical voice of Doris Day for an Elgin night in with you!
A Night with Nico
Thursday 17th May
Enjoy a fabulous meal and then a night of illusion and entertainment that
Nico brings to the stage in his cabaret. It’s great family entertainment.

Got to Dance
Thursday 15th June
Always loved watching people dance, loved the energy and found your feet
tapping away to the music, Well this is the night for you. After an enjoyable
meal in our dining room, sit back and be mesmerised by Cosmic Experience,
an extremely talented group of young people, and enjoy a brilliant demonstration
of sizzling Salsa by Jorge. You have just got to dance tonight.
Veterans Night / 40’s evening
Thursday 28th June
There’ll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of Blackpool tonight as we stroll
down memory lane with Pat Masterson and her 40’s cabaret. Feel free to
dress up in your war time finery but you won’t need your ration books
... dinner is on us!
All aboard the Elgin
for a Cruise Night
Thursday 12th July
It’s “All aboard” the Good ship Elgin for our Round the World in 6 hours
cruise! Enjoy a menu where every course takes on a different port of
call and then be escorted through to the cabaret deck for dazzling
entertainment with a sea view thrown in!
It’s Groovy Baby (Sixties Night)
Thursday 26th July
It’s Flower Power, it’s mini skirts, Maxi dresses and some of the best music
ever to hit the British pop scene. Join us for a trip down Penny, sorry
memory, Lane! with a candlelit dinner followed by a full night of sixties
music with Mike Quinn . . . It’s Groovy baby!
Caribbean Night
Thursday 9th August
Who cares if the weather outside isn’t tropical because tonight the
atmosphere is positively Caribbean! After an evening meal full of
tropical flavours to delight those tastebuds, entertainment is provided
by the fantastic Lloyd and Sylvester with whom you can calypso the
night away!
Bingo Bonanza Evening
Thursday 23rd August
Eyes down for our popular Bingo Bonanza evening. After Dinner there
are two sessions of bingo. The books are a £1 each and all the money
goes back in to prizes. The Hotel will also give a £100 prize for the last
full house of the evening. This will be followed by cabaret in the bar.
Battle of Britain Memorial Day
Thursday 13th September
To celebrate Battle of Britain day, we are holding a second 40’s themed
evening with Pat Masterson, so “Roll out your barrel” . The gang’s all
here” having a fabulous meal and a great cabaret evening.
Stars and Stripes and Elvis Night
Thursday 27th September
Here we are in the land of cotton . . . well Blackpool anyway having a
Stars and Stripes themed evening. After an American themed meal
(don’t worry it’s not McDonalds!) you will be entertained by the great
man himself Ricky Aron our Elvis tribute . . . with all the favourites will
have you donning those “blue suede shoes” and tapping the night away.
It’s Magic and Fun Nights
Thursday 25th October (for Children’s Half Term)
CJ Tazz is here to entertain you for an evening of Magic and fun for all
the family with a disco and games to keep you partying the night away.
Halloween Party Celebrations
Saturday 27th October
Join us for our ghoulish and ghostly goings on! Nicky Flash hosts the
Apple ducking and children’s party games in the bar. Prizes for the best
Fancy dress and cabaret and entertainment in the bar.
