St George’s Night
Friday 23rd April
A traditional English dinner including Roast Topside
of Cumbrian Beef followed by the Hits of the 60’s in
the Bar. A truly British experience.
Irish Ceilidh Night
Thursday 6th May
A good wholesome Irish meal followed by Cabaret in
the bar from an Irish Ceilidh group. It’s bound to be
a “craic”ing night.
Night with the Stars
Thursday 20th May
A sparkling meal followed by cabaret in the bar
provided by the multi talented voice of Tony
Fletcher. Whichever star you like to hear it’s bound to
be on the list of fabulous entertainers Tony brings to
life.
Antiques Promenade Show
Thursday 3rd June
A delicious dinner followed by a visit from
Mr Pat Smythe of Smythe, Son & Walker
Auctioneers & Valuers who will not only bring in
some unusual objects for guests to guess what they
are and what they are worth but will also give advice
on how to recognise if you have a lost treasure in
your attic that might just be worth a fortune. There
will also be a chance to “bid” at auction with a
difference! A fun new evening – not to be missed.
Veterans Night
Thursday 24th June
A trip down memory lane with forties cabaret with
Pat Masterson. Get dressed up in a wartime outfit
and enjoy a great celebration. A few wartime dishes
could even crop up on the menu as well.
Caribbean Calypso
Thursday 15th July
A taste of Calypso. An evening meal that includes
BBQ chicken, Tropical Fruits and plenty of delicious
treats. Entertainment with the wonderful Lloyd &
Sylvester Duo with whom you can dance the night
away.
Got to Dance
Wednesday 28th July
Enjoy a delicious meal and then be entertained by
the very talented Entertania dance troupe. A group
of young multi talented people whose vibrance and
energy will leave you feeling you’ve GOT TO DANCE.
Magique
Thursday 12th August
Now you see it, Now you don’t. Marvel at the fantastic
“Magique” show including Nico’s Houdini Act and
then be entertained by music sung by the ever
popular Gil Fyffe.
Sweet Sensations
Thursday 19th August
The wonderful Julie Oddie our guest Chocolatiere
returns this year with an element of competition for
you all! Not only will she show you how to make
scrumptious truffles and ice delicious cakes, you get
to compete for a team prize. There are a few other
games as well. It’s a cross between Masterchef and
the Generation Game! Loads of fun & cabaret too.
Bingo Bonanza
Thursday 9th September
Bingo is ever popular and there will be 2 sessions
tonight. The books will be £1 each and all the money
goes back into prizes. The hotel will also put a £100
prize for the last full house winner of the evening. In
addition to this there is also cabaret in the bar.
Battle of Britain Day
Wednesday 15th September
To celebrate Battle of Britain Day we are holding
another 40’s themed evening with cabaret provided
by the fabulous Jean Pasquale. It really will be
Bluebirds over the White Cliffs of Blackpool on this
special day.
“It’s Magic” Nights
Tuesday 26th & Thursday 28th October
Designed to coincide with children’s half term. We
have a magician in the bar on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings and a Halloween party on the Saturday to
entertain the kids and parents. All welcome.
Halloween Celebrations
Saturday 31st October
Apple ducking and Children’s Party Games hosted
by Nicky Flash. The man who in ‘Britains Got Talent’
had both Simon Cowell and Ant & Dec slitting their
sides when his escapology trick went badly wrong!
